Helen Hill LISW-S

Helen Hill LISW-S has over 40 years experience in the mental health field, and has been involved in the local EMDR community for 28 years. She serves many roles: certified clinician and approved consultant in EMDR; trainer for EMDR Consulting LLC; co-chair for the local EMDR Network for clinicians; and clinical consultant for the Buckeye Trauma Response Network. Along with Cheri Kerr, she has provided training in the treament of trauma and dissociation to local clinicians for several decades. Helen is also the Clinical Director for Ohio Assist, a program for first responders, and works in private practice in Columbus Ohio.


Cheri Kerr LPCC-S

For more than 20 years I have been passionate about the treatment of adults, children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and loss. In 1999 I became trained in the use of EMDR, going on to become a Certified Clinician and EMDRIA Consultant. I have been providing education, consultation and supervision to area clinicians on trauma and dissociation for more than 15 years and continue to be awed by the strength and wisdom of my clients as they share their healing journey with me. I am the referral coordinator for the Buckeye Trauma Response Network.

Sharon Saia LISW-S

Sharon has 30 years experience in a wide array of mental health settings. She is a certified therapist in EMDR. Before coming to Ohio State, Sharon worked as a therapist for 10 years at Central Ohio Behavioral Medicine, a private practice providing services to individuals impacted by trauma, chronic illness, and mental illness. Currently, she is the Director of the Employee Assistance Program at the Ohio State University. Additionally, Sharon serves on the boards of several organizations and enjoys her family, reading, and travel. Sharon is the coordinator of the Buckeye Trauma Response Network.
