Helen Hill LISW-S
Helen Hill LISW-S has over 40 years experience in the mental health field, and has been involved in the local EMDR community for 29 years. She serves many roles: certified clinician and approved consultant in EMDR; trainer for EMDR Consulting LLC; co-chair for the local EMDR Network for clinicians; and clinical consultant for the Buckeye Trauma Response Network. Helen has delivered trainings on the treatment of trauma and dissociation for decades, as well as training fellow professionals in understanding the unique culture of first responders. Helen is also the Clinical Director for Ohio Assist, a program for first responders, and works in private practice in Columbus Ohio.
Helen is CISM trained. She participated as volunteer with EMDR assisting with the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing.
Sharon Saia LISW-S
Sharon has 30 years experience in a wide array of mental health settings. She is a certified therapist in EMDR. Sharon worked as a therapist for ten years at Central Ohio Behavioral Medicine, a private practice providing services to individuals impacted by trauma, chronic illness, and mental illness. Most recently, she was the Director of the Employee Assistance Program at the Ohio State University. She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. She has been trained in Critical Incident Stress Managment since 1996, providing CISM services to both the public and private sectors.
Sharon serves as a mental health peer on several CISM teams, provides consulting and training, and has a private practice in Columbus. Additionally, Sharon serves on the boards of several organizations and enjoys her family, reading, and travel Sharon is the coordinator of the Buckeye Trauma Response Network.
